God’s Telephone

Dit bericht is ook beschikbaar in: Nederlands (Dutch)

Always connected

I don’t know if you know
There is a telephone
A wireless connection
From earth right into heaven.

When dropping on your knees
It rings there loud and clear
And having ample time to speak
God tunes in, your voice to hear.

You will notice readily
The line is always free.
“Sorry, you’re wrong connected”
Is a phrase you’ll never hear.

Maybe you’ve lost your trust,
Or you’ve forgotten how to use
Told yourself to be perfect first.
And have abandoned the device.

Your heart is the appliance
No special preparation there
Every day and every hour
His holy guidance is near.

God will surely listen
Will never say: “keep it short.”
He’ll never hung you up
before you’ve poured your heart.

As a father is all ears,
When his child is hurting or excited
God always wants the best
For that’s what a Father does.

So check your telephone
Make sure it’s always standby
Your Father which is in heaven
Loves to hear your hearts cry.
